Compliance & Authorization

Venezuela is subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions. Most U.S. companies are prohibited from conducting oil and gas procurement transactions involving Venezuela or PdVSA. MPH International Trading Group LLC is different — our 2011 establishment date qualifies us as an Established U.S. Entity under OFAC General Licenses, giving us — and our clients — lawful access to transactions that are simply unavailable to newer U.S. entities.

Established before January 29, 2025

MPH was incorporated on August 21, 2011 — more than 13 years before OFAC’s qualifying date. This status is permanent and cannot be acquired by any new entity formed after that date.

Full OFAC compliance infrastructure

Every transaction receives an OFAC Transaction Reference Number (OTRN). All vendors, carriers, and counterparties are SDN-screened. Records maintained for 5+ years.

Authorized for PdVSA transactions (GL 52)

General License 52 — the broadest available authorization — permits all transactions with PdVSA by Established U.S. Entities. MPH is authorized where others are not.

Full equipment & services authorization (GL 48A)

All goods, technology, software, and services for Venezuela’s oil, gas, and electricity sector operations are authorized under GL 48A — covering everything from oilfield equipment to digital systems.
